Shannon Montpetit

I have had a passion for fitness and nutrition for most of my adult life. As a young person, I was never athletic and was intimidated by sports so I didn't do much in terms of physical activity. I spent a good deal of my youth and early 20s with poor self esteem, constantly trying to achieve a "better" body by starving myself and dieting. As a result, I struggled with my weight for years.
When I started going to the gym later in life, I found a strength and confidence I never knew I possessed. I developed a love of working out, and a thirst for knowledge about how to best fuel my body in healthy and productive ways. When I became a mother, my passion for a healthy lifestyle grew and I wanted to be a good role model for my two girls. It was difficult to juggle small children and all the demands of motherhood and my desire to be fit and healthy but I learned to make myself a priority.
I started working out with personal trainers and have spent the past 10 years learning everything I possibly can about fitness and nutrition. Through all of this I realized that I really wanted to make a career of helping people achieve their fitness and healthy lifestyle goals and to help them learn to make themselves a priority. I love helping people and sharing my knowledge and experience. Whatever your goals are, I am here to help you achieve them and want to help you to be the best you can be.
